The Main Character's Fear And The Struggle In Beck And Wood's Movie Script A Quiet Place
This study aims to analyze fear and struggle theories in a movie script using psychological approach in literature. Psychology approach in literature is a psychological study of the writer, as type and as individual, or the study of the creative process, or the study of the psychological types and laws present within works of literature, or, finally, the effects of literature upon its readers. This research uses qualitative approach. It is conducted by using descriptive qualitative method. The research object in this study is A Quiet Place movie script by Beck and Woods’s. The research data are collected from showing method through the action of character which conveyed by main characters in A Quiet Place movie script. The result of this research are the types of characterization through the action found in the A Quiet Place movie script. All of the main character action are used to point to the fear and struggle theories, which mean that the meaning of the action to convey by the main character requirement to achieve their goal
