Semiotics Analysis Of The Sign Message By The Main Character In The Lupin Series (2021).

Thus term paper aims to analyze a film series using Charles Sanders Pierce's theory of semiotics through the semiotics approach concepts such as signified and signifier, symbol, icon, and index will be applied. In addition, the reason of the purpose, including implied message and the reason of the main character implied the messages are digested in this term-paper. Thus term-paper is using qualitative, research method fpr data collective is using the form of images or cut scene in the film series Lupin (2012) based on the novel the sane name by Maurice Le'Blanc as the main source. Lupoin series is the action and mystery series backgrounded as a social injustice for Somalian immigrant in France in 1998, also this series bring the racial issue for the non-white person. This series express the spirit, the justice for all human rfaces, and also the sacrifice for the loved one. The result is that there are, total 19 implied sign and message as the main plot in this series which is signifier and signifiedas the main objective for this research. Also, by this research I can conclude the semiotics theory by Pierce's could be used to get the effectiveness of a sign research.
