This study aims to analyze the existence of motivation theory and the struggle to achieve dreams in the script Clouds (2020) The theory of motivation through Abraham Maslow, which assumes that needs are the reason for the formation of motivation in an individual, can be studied in the context of this film, especially through the main character, Zach. In the course of his life, Zach shows high internal motivation in pursuing his dream as a musician. Despite being faced with the reality of his limited lifespan, Zach does not give up and continues to push himself to create meaningful music. Struggle is also an important theme in this movie. Zach has to fight against his illness that affects his physicality and health. However, he also faced emotional and psychological obstacles in achieving his dreams. The movie depicts Zach's perseverance in overcoming these obstacles, and how he finds strength in family, friendship and love. Struggle is also an important theme in this movie.
