The Analysis Of Translation Techniques Used In Indonesian Subtitle In The Movie “Fast X”
A researcher employing a qualitative method is conducting this study, which looks at data in the form of descriptive words and sentences. This research, which focuses on the examination of a movie script, is classified as content analysis research or document research. The descriptive qualitative research design is being used. The study’s principal data source is a two-hour; twenty-one-minute film; supplementary secondary sources are books and articles. The researcher uses a variety of methods, translating and searching to collect data. The translation theory by Miles and Huberman, which highlights several elements in data analysis, is applied by the researcher. Three primary tasks are involved in this theory; reducing the amount of data, presenting the data, and making inferences or verification. In particular, the research contains a script analysis of the movie to look at subtitles, translation, and translation methods.
