The Analysis Of Elision From One Direction's Singing Articulation Through Phonology Approach

This term paper discusses the analysis of elision from One Direction's singing articulation by using phonology approaches. Phonology approaches are: phoneme, vowel and consonant and elision. The aim of this study is to find out the use of elision in One Direction's singing articulation, and give the information about elision to the readers who are interseted in linguistic major, as especially in English. This study is a qualitative range of research, types of linguistic research that analyze with method of data collection in the form of One Direction's songs as the primary source and supported by some linguistic sources related to the concept and theories. The result of this study indicates that most of the use of elision in One Direction's singing articulation is the omission of consonants at the end of the word.
